When antifowling my boat about 6 years ago I notices some small blisters appearing in a few areas of the hull. I did pop one or two and there was the tell tale smell of vinegar. I asked in the boatyard what was best to do and was advised differently by each person. when I antifowled last year I noticed that they had got very slightly worse. What I would like to know is weather the longer i leave it the more expensive the treatment will be, or can I sail for a few more years yet and save up for the repair without doing more damage, or incurring more costs.
Thanks in asvance

Hi, Generaly, the longer you leave it, the worse the damage will be. Osmosis can be treated much less expensively these days and you could even consider having it done as part of a copperbot finish. That way you can save on annual anti-fouling.
Maybe talk to a different yard ?
