How often should I take my boat out of the water to dry out for the season. I have been told conflicting theories about leaving them in the water without drying them out for a good few months a year stops any osmosis problems. other people have told me that keeping them in the water doesnt do them any harm, just antifoul every year or so and no problem. can someone advise me on what is the correct way to preserve the hull of your boat?
thanks

I have been told that you should take them out and leave on the hard for a few months as often as you can, ie anually. However I know a lot of boat owners that just antifoul every two years and the boat is in and out within two days and they have not come to any harm.
So as usual with boats, there is a wide varied opinion.
Sorry I cant be of more help
