Rope & Anchor
Nestled in the heart of Old town Poole (next to Poole museum) is our little family run pub. Full of charm, warmth and smiles. We have a sunny courtyard, we serve home cooked food all day, along with great Wadworth ales and drinks. We often boast live music and other events. So bring your friends, families and puppies too!! And be sure to book for our famous Sunday roast dinners!!!

Rope & Anchor
Although very close to the seafront the Rope and anchor is tucked away slightly and quite easy to miss. We called in and only had a few drinks as we had recently eaten. The inside of the pub is a pleasant surprise and looks like it has had some kind of refurb recently. Nice pleasant staff and quick service. Next time we will try the food.

Rope & Anchor Poole
A very nice family run pub, serving good food. The Rope & Anchor Poole can easily be missed as its just tucked away a little onSarum Street, so make sure you look out for it. Its a pleasant surprise on entering. Its beautifully furnished as the photos show, and has a beer garden. Its somewhere we will revisit.

We went to Bournemouth to watch the boxing and came accross this website and so decided to visit Poole. What a place!! Great bars and restaurants and beautiful boats to look at. The bars on the front were absolutely jammed, so we decided to give this one a go. Loved it, the food, service, location all perfect. Thinking of making the trip again this year. Great little find!
