Helgis design takes inspiration from Orkney’s Viking past, a traditional pub with a slate floor and wooden panelled walls, it’s small but perfectly formed. The ground floor bar is well stocked with draft and bottled beers, wines and spirits plus a good selection of malts. Helgi's is strictly over 18's only.
Helgi’s Head Cook and his team serve quality comfort food of the home cooking variety, using as much local produce as possible.
Meals are available daily from 12-9pm Mon–Sat and 12.30-9pm Sundays.

This was probably the pub we visted most. It had the perfect blend of locals and tourists. It has a Viking vibe to it and is strictly for over 18s good hearty food at a very competative price. And rest assured you wont be bothered by screaming children running around.

This Viking style bar/ restaurant is located on the front overlooking the harbour. Serves good food and has a varied selection of beers and whiskeys. It also has upstairs seating where the view is of the harbour. It is only small, so if you are going in to wat i would suggest contactin in advance.

Nice atmospheric bar restaurant close to the marina. A viking inspired theme to this small but very well stocked bar.

An ideally located bar restaurant near to the marina stocking lots of different ales. The food served is well above pub food standard and the menu pretty much has something to suit anybody. When in Orkney you will no doubt stumble across Helgis, make sure you dont just pass by, its well worth popping in.

Great place for food and drink, and it has a substantial gluten free menu. We had Haggis fondue, a chicken salad, soup, and smoked salmon. everything was perfect. we would recommend people to eat here at least once when visiting. We think you will go again soon.
