A COLD WEEK AHEAD

Look out for the elderly and the vulnerable this week, as the MET office is warning of extreme conditions this week.
Parts of Britain are forecast to be colder the Mount Everest, with rural Scotland dipping into -15C. The North is expected to be hit the hardest, but even London has been warned to be alert for the freezing weather.
Drivers are also being warned to take extra care and plan their routes carefully, taking an emergency pack with them that should include a flask with a hot drink, food, blankets, a torch, warm clothes and footwear, and make sure that the phones are fully charged and take a phone charger.
So take care everyone, a lot of it is common sense, and do remember to look out for the vulnerable
