Weymouth Marina is a modern purpose-built marina providing over 280 permanent and visiting berths, situated in the inner harbour beyond the town's historic lifting bridge. There are no tidal access restrictions as the marina is dredged to 2.5 metres below chart datum.
Weymouth is ideally situated mid-way between The Solent and the West Country and provides the shortest crossing to France west of Folkestone.

Marinas
Before approaching the Harbour entrance, visiting vessels should contact us on VHF 12 call sign "Weymouth Harbour". Upon arrival, visiting craft will be allocated a berthing position, there are three sets of pontoons for visiting vessels all served by gangway access and all have fresh water and electrical supplies. If you arrive "out-of-hours" please proceed to a suitable alongside berth or raft out on a vessel of a similar length.
South side of the harbour "The Cove": For yachts and motor cruisers up to 10 metres and 1.7 Metres draft. The pontoons are used for winter storage from October to March
North side of the harbour "Custom House Quay": (Outside the harbour office) available all year round
North side of the harbour "Custom House Quay": (Opposite the lifeboat station) Otherwise known as the Cargo Stage. For all vessels over 10 metres. The pontoons are removed from October to March for commercial vessel berthing.
