Laguna Marina is an exclusive, boutique yacht marina on the Valletta waterfront and the only marina in Malta to offer an ‘all inclusive’ option to its clients. Laguna Marina’s concept is for the motor yacht owner to find their boat ‘ready to go’, allowing them more time to enjoy the use of their craft and leaving the hassles of boat ownership to us. The service provided is personalised, professional and to the highest standards. Laguna Marina’s location, at the heart of the stunning and vibrant Valletta Waterfront development, offers an all weather marina with safe and secure moorings thus extending the owners usage time of the yacht through the warm winter months. Situated within the capital’s Grand Harbour, the Valletta Waterfront is in a historical and sheltered port which is regularly visited by cruise liners and other vessels from all over the Mediterranean. Laguna Marina offers bespoke services. Installed with floating pontoons and fingers to provide easy access, Laguna Marina offers its clients assistance with berthing, refuelling, catering, valet parking, guardiennage, waste collection and a concierge service. We are confident that with our positive attitude towards our clients, you will enjoy being with us. Laguna Marina was not developed by operators, but by its very first customers, themselves discerning boat owners wishing to see a customer focused exclusive marina in Malta. Like you, they are far too busy working to look after their yachts, but expect to be able to sit back and relax on board at a moment’s notice, and demand the highest levels of service, professionalism and courtesy, much like you.
Welcome to the Royal Malta Yacht Club, home of the Rolex Middle Sea Race.
The Royal Malta Yacht Club has a deep commitment to yachting and organises a full programme of racing and social activities throughout the year.
Located right on the water in Ta' Xbiex Marina the Club offers extraordinary facilities which include a lounge bar and dining area with outdoor terraces, roof top terrace, conference rooms, a fitness room with changing rooms, waterfront facilities for small boats and a seasonal marina for larger boats.
The 720 berth Msida and Ta’ Xbiex Marina, operated by Creek Developments Plc, can handle pleasure yachts of up to 22m in length. Long sought-after for the convenient central location and the shelter afforded from the prevailing North-Westerly winds, the marina is also naturally protected from other wind directions, while the breakwater protects against a North-Easterly swell.
After a comprehensive renovation, bringing the Msida & Ta’Xbiex Marinas to the highest standards, we are delighted to be able to welcome visitors to the Marina once again. Whether coming into the Marina after a long voyage or a short hop, nobody wants to get lost in formalities on arrival. Book in advance and benefit from being met by our Marina Assistants, guided to a reserved berth and provided with utility access keys. Mail/poste restante, provisioning, bunkering and a full range of services can also be pre-arranged to make the best use of your time.
On approach, the breakwater with St Elmo lighthouse located at its eastern end is easy to identify. Leave this to starboard, and the short breakwater off Fort Ricasoli to port. Fort St Angelo is then rounded to port to enter the final approach channel, which is marked with small red and green buoys. Call us on VHF channel 13 for berthing instructions.
Yachts should also contact Valletta Port Control on channel 12 when 12 miles out, and may be asked to call again one mile from the entrance, depending on the movement of commercial traffic within the harbour.
