The Chimneys Hotel built in 1925, previously known as The Trust and was mostly used by miners who worked at Blackhall Colliery. Renamed to Chimneys because it has so many chimneys, underwent a revamp to bring the interior and exterior up to date in 2008.
Mike originally from Hampshire brought his professional team with him to Chimneys in August 2009. A well known chef in the North East of England, Mike decided it was time to 'step up' and take on the hotel along with a function room, restaurant and lounge bar.
