The Merioneth Yacht Club is a not for profit Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) founded in 1937. The clubhouse is ideally located in the historic Barmouth Harbour area and has the most incredible views of the harbour and Mawddach Estuary. Visitors are welcome to enjoy our facilities.
The club objective is to encourage and enable the participation in water-based sports and recreation for people of all ages and abilities in Barmouth, Merioneth and beyond. In line with these objectives the club offers a growing range of activities and facilities.

Based in Barmouth, Ty’r Graig Castle combines history and luxury to provide accommodation for guests from all over the world.
Our castle accommodates a range of luxury facilities; 11 en-suite guest rooms with stunning views of the local area ensure it’s a stay that will live long in the memory.

The Three Peaks Yacht Race is one of the oldest and most remarkable multi-sport endurance races in the world. We think it's the most fun too!
It draws competitors from all sporting backgrounds, with sailing experience from off-shore cruising to round-the-world races, sailing & sports clubs, schools, military & company teams. All enter & compete on equal terms.
The race is run under handicap, and is open to both multihills and monohulls, and there is a non-competitive Challenge class available.

One of the best views of Cardigan Bay in the area with the most amazing sunsets as you wine and dine.

Barney's at Ty'r Graig Castle prides itself with delicious food at affordable prices, attentive staff and truly amazing views with a very relaxing experience. This lovely Victorian Castle was built by the gun maker W.W.Greener in the shape of a double barrel shotgun and overnight stays are also available in the Castle.

Great friendly bar close to station and seafront .Darts pool and good food. Restaurant opening soon upstairs.

All our dishes are prepared on the premises using fresh local produce whenever possible

A traditional family run Fish & Chip Takeaway established over 20 years . We are close to the Harbour and offer a variety of fish from cod , haddock , plaice and hake . Children's meals are available along with a vegetarian menu. Open March through to November .
