I have noticed that some marinas now have 360 aerial photos of the marina. I am a novice to sailing and have been looking at pilot books and charts, but i find these aerial photos make landmarks and pilotage easier. If correct pilotage information was added to the photos via a 360 tour, do you think they could be the future of navigation in marinas?

I think they are already a great help in pilotage into marinas and harbours if the information on them is correct. The problem is weather you trust the information on them or not. A picture never lies as they say, but in some circumstances they can be very misleading. but I do think they are going to be more popular soon.
