A year ago the three of us got together and decided to build our own bar exactly how we wanted it with no restrictions and no rules. Inspired by our favourite book, Alice In Wonderland, and in homage to the late David Bruce, our task was to create a little haven where people could escape, let their hair down and experience something new. Not wanting to be just a bar, we have built The Chintz in the hope that it can become a creative space for people from all walks of life. Lovingly handcrafted out of the sterile remains of a dental surgery, the building of The Chintz has been a long and arduous journey. There have been blood, sweat and a whole lot of tears but ultimately we think it has been worth it and we hope you do too...
So, without further ado, we present The Chintz Symposium. Come down and join us. Eat, drink and be ridiculously merry; but, most importantly, be prepared for the unexpected.
