The Sailors Return is a traditional quayside public house,
parts of which date back to the 17th century.
It comprises 2 Bars and also offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation. The waterfront bar offers spectacular views of the harbour and contains hand painted murals of local historic events from smuggling to travel and old maps of the town. The public bar has a warm welcoming atmosphere and has a pool table and an Internet Juke box.
Helen and Steve offer you all a warm welcome, we have traditional real ales and a wide variety of beers, wines and sprits. The Sailors Return has a wide variety of entertainment with Folk Music every Wednesday evening, Karaoke every Friday, live bands every Saturday and on Sunday we host an Acoustic Jamming session.The central location of the Sailors Return, adjacent to the Harbour bridge, is perfect. It has strong links with Yachting, Commercial Fishing and Sport Angling, with a variety of Charter boats on the doorstep. The fishing around the spectacular coastline of Weymouth and Portland being second to none in the UK , with a wide variety of different species to be caught.

A wide variety of national and international events are hosted in Weymouth each year, in 2005 we saw the Weymouth Folk Festival and the Sailors Return was voted best pub venue. There are many fishing competitions held throughout the year with the annual Conger Championships, The YYS sponsored one week long international in September. The Weymouth Species hunt which is a 2 day competition held in early October and this year Weymouth hosts the CIPS World Boat Angling Championships.
