Located  on the edge of the quay, overlooking the harbour,  The Ship Inn re-opened with a new general manager after a total refurbishment at the end of 2006.  It is a popular pub with a nautical feel and open every day from 11am (Sundays from 12noon).

Natural woods, banquette seating and log burning fires in the winter create an inviting and relaxed atmosphere. A large terrace overlooks the harbour for drinking and dining in the summer months.

There is something for everyone on the menu served from 12noon.  Sharing dishes and a range of sandwiches to enjoy with a drink in the bar, and  pub favourites  such as Today’s pie and mash and burger.  There are also light dishes, salads, market fish of the day, vegetarian and meat options.  Traditional British puddings to finish, and on Sundays there are a couple of roasts with all the trimmings.

A wide selection of cold premium, continental draught lagers  and award winning real ale,  Timothy Taylor Landlord, plus a good selection of wines by the glass or carafe are waiting to be served by friendly staff.

This welcoming pub with all its character and great hospitality is the perfect place for popping in for a pint or enjoying a leisurely meal.
