Mike Vegas of Berkley, California ordered a chicken wing takeaway from Domino’s and had it delivered to his door. After a quick bite and stashing the rest in his fridge, he was later surprised to discover that the box contained $1,300 which the delivery man had hidden in the box “for safety” on the way to the bank.
The delivery driver repeatedly called Vegas after realising his mistake, but there was no answer. Vegas had a moral dilemma, should he return the money or not.
After some deliberation he decided to return it. The Store manager has now offered him free Pizza for a year.
