ImageSWINE FLU SYMPTOMS
As if we hadn’t enough to deal with come the summer holidays, rain, useless exchange rates, road works etc. Now swine flu seems intent to rear its ugly head and cause pandemic panic. It’s really not that bad. Swine flu is less serious than many other types of flu and most people who contract it recover within a week. It’s only bad if it gets involved with other conditions.
The symptoms are pretty much the same as regular flu. The main ones are:
sudden fever (a high body temperature of 38C/100.4F or above), and
sudden cough.
Other symptoms include
headache,
tiredness,
chills,
aching muscles,
limb or joint pain,
diarrhea or stomach upset,
sore throat,
runny nose,
sneezing, and
loss of appetite.
You may have already had it and not known. The major concern is that it is a ‘new’ virus and therefore unpredictable. But on the whole if you’re healthy you don’t need to worry. Now get out there and enjoy the summer!!!
