Studland Bay escapes Marine conservation Zone desgination
Studland Bay has not been included in the latest determination of Marine Conservation Zones.
An online petition started by Neil Garrick-Maidment calls for the area to be declared a Marine Conservation Area in order to protect the seagrass and seahorses reached 1,000 signatures but DEFRA announced that its decision on the second round of nominated areas which includes Studland Bay was final.
