SAM DAVIES LOOKS GOOD

Vendee Globe success Sam Davies is looking for backers to ensure she gets another chance in the most grueling of round the world sailing challenges. With her sponsors Roxy holding their hands up and putting the yacht on the market Sam remains determined.

She has been chosen to race the Transat Jacques Vabre with Sydney Gavignet. She also set a new record as part of the round the UK team with fellow Vendee Globe challenger Dee Cafferi aboard Aviva. Unfortunately Roxy do not have the funds to finance another Vendee Globe challenge. Hence they have put the yacht on the market.

Sam is confident that she will be in the running for the next Vendee Globe and in the meantime is in negotiations with various companies to race under their flags. Interested parties include Fastnet and Transat Jacques Vabre.
