RED ALERT HARBOUR GUIDES CREW SET SAIL Saturday November 21st, 2009
ImageIn breaking news, the Harbour Guides press office have been urged to make a statement in the light of recent extreme circumstances surrounding the whereabouts of certain crew members,Steve Mallinson and Paul Smith. Whilst updating Harbourguides guide to Windermere in the Lake District the crew were stranded by severe flooding; a situation that became increasingly worse. Eventually the water levels rose so drastically that the Harbour Guides vehicle began to float. All efforts to anchor her were confounded by the severe weather conditions and the sorry state of the crew members. She was last seen drifting in the direction of Hawkshead. Anyone who sees a Harbour Guides branded blue van floating past should contact the inland crew immediately. No injuries have been reported. Meanwhile we have gone to red alert!
