ImagePIRATE HUNTING FOR WEALTHY HOLIDAY MAKERS

Wow those Russians aren’t anything if not resourceful. In the latest bid to prize money from the claws of the rich and bored, luxury ocean liners are offering pirate hunting cruises. For around £3,500 per day, wealthy psychos can patrol the waters off the coast of Somali aboard private yachts in the hope of being targeted by bandits.

The yachts are armed with grenade launchers, machine guns and rocket launchers to ensure that the pirates get a nasty surprise. For an extra fiver a day you can even get your own AK-47 with 100 rounds of ammo coming in at a mere seven quid. The yachts are all protected by ex-special forces troops and deliberately cruise at only 5 knots in an effort to become potential prey for buccaneers.

Russian yachtsman Vladimir Mironov had this to say about the have-a-go sailors of fortune, 'They are worse than the pirates… At least the pirates have the decency to take hostages, these people are just paying to commit murder.'

Coming to a multiplex cinema near you soon… Probably!
