OASIS STAR CRUISIN FOR A BRUISIN

For the first time ever in his life Manchunian motor mouth Liam Gallagher was lost for words when Hollywood megastar Tom Cruise pulled him up about insulting comments he had made. Having bumped into each other in a German hotel, Cruise asked the Oasis singer to explain why he had said “I hate Tom Cruise. I can’t stand that small bastard.” in the Oasis documentary 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down'.

Gallagher managed to dilute the situation by admitting to Cruise that he actually really liked him in ‘Cocktail’. Oasis are currently touring Germany and were staying at the Regent Hotel in Berlin when the confrontation took place. Sounds to me like Liam’s gone soft. Ten years ago he’d probably have been arrested for assaulting the Cruiser. But according to a witness the pair shook hands and laughed awkwardly before parting company. And not even a two-finger salute from the Manchester’s most famous hooligan.
