MAN ON CRUTCHES ATTACKS POLICE CAR Thursday January 29th, 2009
ImageAccording to reports just in from our New Zealand sources a man on crutches has been arrested in the Western Bay of Plenty for attacking a police car.

The incident happened early morning on Thursday 29th January when a 58-year-old –man attempted to claim land at the front entrance of the Tauranga Hospital. The police stated the man became irate when approached and used one of his crutches to defend himself before smashing the windscreen and rear window of the patrol car. He was eventually subdued with pepper spray.

There has been no comment from the hospital as yet as officials are currently investigating what led to the incident. In the meantime the unnamed man faces charges including assaulting a police officer wilful damage, resisting arrest and threatening to kill.
