HARKENS HYDROFLUX DECK SHOES Monday March 09th, 2009
ImageDRY FEET DREAMS COME TRUE

Say goodbye to wet feet with Harken’s revolutionary, HydroFlux deck shoes. This stylish performance footwear is made from a quick-drying synthetic material with a unique one-way drainage system that draws water away from the foot at nine separate drainage points, keeping the feet dry.

Spokesperson, Heidi Harken, Sailing Gear Development Manager. Said 'We are pleased with this next generation of performance deck shoes. We've incorporated toe protection bonded to a double-layer mesh with a durable coarse exterior and a comfortable mesh lining into the HydroFlux shoe… The result is a shoe that's lightweight and cool, but still gives you the support, comfort, and protection you need to sail safely.'

The Hydroflux shoes also feature Harken’s radical traction zone soles which gives each foots three main pressure zones independent traction and the shoes come in different designs for men and women.

'Women and men have different foot structures and this was an important design priority when developing this shoe,' Heidi said.

The women’s Sea sprite design comes in sizes between 5.5 to 10.5 and the men’s Carbon and Spindrift designs range from 7 to 11.5. All sizes cost £69.95 and look pretty good on shore too.
