FEBRUARY 2010 COMPETITION

Hello competition fans and welcome to 2010. Let’s hope it’s a good year and a lucky one to boot. Speaking of which, it’s Harbour Guides competition time at last. We begin the year with a distinctly nautical prize aimed at those wanting to brush up on their sailing prowess or even pass an exam.

February’s lucky winner will receive a copy of “Complete Day Skipper 2nd Edition” by celebrated marine author Tom Cunliffe. Already heading for the sailing best selling list the book is written around the ‘RYA Day Skipper’ syllabus but is aimed squarely at teaching the reader to become a seaman and not simply pass the exam.

Meantime there’s plenty of new trivia, cocktails and recipes to check out along with our regular news and sailing news. So why not hop aboard and try your luck out.
