BRUMMY CAR PARK GOES GERMAN

BRUMMY CAR PARK GOES GERMAN Wednesday February 03rd, 2010
Driver’s attempting to park in a Birmingham City Centre car park have been left somewhat confused by a ticked dispenser operating in German. For reasons unknown once the multi-storey becomes full the machine switches from English of German.
The council suspects the change of language is something to do with a change in software during the hosting of the Frankfurt Christmas Market in December. A council spokesman said, 'Maybe the machine got confused,' and went to say they hope to have the problem rectified by next week.
In the meantime a notice on the machine explains that staff are on hand to translate.
