THE COMMODORE AND FLAG OFFICERS OF BEMBRIDGE SAILING CLUB INVITE YOU TO VISIT THEIR CLUBHOUSE.
Founded in 1886, Bembridge Sailing Club has grown steadily over the years and now has some 1,300 members. It is designated as a Royal Yachting Association training centre, with the Club Secretary as the Chief Instructor, and also a Volvo Champion Club. Numerous courses are held throughout the year covering many other aspects of sailing including safety and power boats, Race Officer, Radio & basic First Aid. A new building was opened in 2002 which has transformed the on-shore facilities and the Club now has an excellent and spacious Dining Room, which comfortably seats 100, new kitchens, showers and changing rooms as well as a separate multi-purpose room for the cadets. The Club has been licensed for Civil Marriages since 2005 and hosts a number of non-member events throughout the year. The emphasis at the Club is on a happy family atmosphere where all ages can partake in all facets of seafaring activities, as well as the enjoying the excellent position and style of the renovated clubhouse.

WHAT IS AVAILABLE? Not only are we able to provide you with excellent catering from our dedicated contract caterers 'All About Catering' (www.allaboutcatering.co.uk) in unique surroundings, but we can also offer sailing visitors the opportunity to arrive on an evening tide, race the following day in some of the best waters around the south coast, dine at the Club that evening and race home the following day. For Motor Cruisers we can offer a range of challenging competitions. Alternatively, just come for Dinner; or if you only have one tide to play with, why not come for lunch? CATERING FOR VISITING YACHTSMEN:
Our Dining Room enjoys stunning panoramic views over the harbour and beyond. From here you are perfectly placed to soak up the maritime atmosphere, whilst enjoying one of our Chef's first-class menus making best use of local Island produce available. Our 'winter' catering hours (through to end of March '09) are currently: Saturday and Sunday lunches - 12:00 to 2:30pm and Friday and Saturday evenings – 7:00 to 9:30pm. Our Bar is also open during these times, as well as Thursday and Friday lunch time.

NON-MEMBER / NON-SAILING EVENTS:
Subject to our licensing conditions, we are happy to accommodate private parties, corporate training days, charity events, civil weddings and wedding receptions whenever the Club is not in use for sailing-related or member activities. Woodford and Son, we pride ourselves on customer service. If you are happy, so are we. If you order during the week, we will strive to deliver around between 3pm & 7pm the same day. We also deliver on Saturdays between 9am and 12pm.
