Poole Marinas

It is situated at Hamworthy in Holes Bay within Poole Harbour, the world's second largest natural harbour. Much of the shoreline is undeveloped and there are many inlets and small islands to explore by boat

Lake Yard provides numerous services for the dedicated sailor, powerboater or the occasional boat user. Regardless of the craft you own or the type of boating you most enjoy, Lake Yard can provide everything you need to make the most of your interests.

Situated on the North side of Poole harbour Parkstone Yacht Haven can be entered at all states of tide. Run by the Parkstone Yacht Club, the Haven provides 200 deepwater berths for members and 8 visitors berths, although it will accomodate more visiting yachtsmen when berth holders are away.

Situated next to the Purbeck hills, Poole Harbour is the second largest natural Harbour in the world and boasts many fine tourist attractions, including incredible walks and scenery undulating countryside for miles around, and fantastic sailing!

The marina is situated on the town quay opposite the world famous Brownsea Island and has 125 berths that can accommodate vessels up to 35 meters, down to the smallest of dinghies and Jet Ski's - so ANYONE can come and visit us! The facilities in the marina are excellent, we were awarded 4 Golden Anchors from The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA) in 2008, which is the very top award for a marina of this operational capacity The new versadock moorings have been very popular as have the swinging moorings in the Wych Channel, which were fully booked by the end of July 2009. Plans have now been proposed to increase the number of swinging moorings for 2010, a reflection of their popularity In 2009 the marina welcomed back many familiar faces into the Harbour and also many new international vessels. We are particularly proud of this achievement. The service we provide is on a par with international marinas, and the marina itself provides a service to Poole Harbour in making it a reference point on sailor's charts for visits.
