Fox Marine is a family-run, "full service" boatyard that has been operating for over 30 years, providing a trusted service to the commercial and recreational marine industry in the island. Jersey has a high proportion of boat owners, many of whom are our customers. We feel our excellent local reputation is our greatest asset.

We are based next to the Old English Harbour in St Helier (left) Most of our work is for repeat customers among private boat owners, commercial fishermen and local government agencies. Our many years of experience in caring for all types of powerboats has given us a big resource of knowledge and experience that we are able to pass on

Our engineers Steve and Phil are BMET (British Marine Electronics Technician) Certified (Electrical and Electronics), and have combined experience of over 50 years in this field.

ELECTRICAL: Fault diagnosis and repair, DC and AC power generation and distribution, all other electromechanical equipment supply and overhaul (including alternators and advanced regulation, starter motors, electric winches, anchor windlass, autopilot drives and bow/stern thrusters).

ELECTRONICS: Fault diagnosis and repair, supply, installation, configuration and calibration of navigation, communication and weather-related electronics, for inshore, offshore and trans-ocean vessels. A well-practiced and qualified understanding of traditional navigation under both sail and power enables us to properly understand the function of the equipment, and so equipment we supply and install is properly calibrated, tested and commissioned, and hence carries the manufacturer's full-term worldwide warranty validation.

We are Authorised Sales and Technical Service Dealer for Furuno (Sole Agent), Garmin Marine (Sole Service Agent), the Navico Group (B&G, Eagle, Lowrance, Northstar and Simrad), Raymarine, and Echopilot, and we are a chart programming dealer for Jeppesen C-Map.

Rope & Rigging
We stock all sizes of 3-strand, multi-plait, braid on braid, and Dyneema advanced ropes in a range of colours, all of which can be supplied with splices if required. You will also find a selection of light gauge stainless steel and galvanised rigging wire and a selection of thimbles and shackles. See our rigging loft for larger orders.

To compliment our range of small boats we stock a selection of outboard engines.
Paint & Repair Materials
We have a full range of marine products and are sole Island stockists for International Paints and much more including fibreglass repair kits, filling and fairing compounds, primers, undercoats, and the full range of gloss colours and varnishes range of washing, cleaning and polishing products.
Deck Equipment
YS light alloy fittings and a full range of stainless steel deck fittings are stocked. We are agents for Harken, Lewmar, and Barton, and carry a wide range of blocks and winches.
