Jersey Information

Situated 100miles off the English coast, it may well only cover 45 square miles, but the Island of Jersey really does have something for everyone, with a few surprises along the way. Fusing the very best of British and French influences the island is steeped in history, making it an ideal destination for culture vultures. Outdoor types are also well served by the veritable maze of country lanes that seem to wind endlessly through the islands lush, unspoiled and often stunning rural areas.

By combining traditional with modern, Jersey offers hospitality, sightseeing and activities second to none. Whether you want to enjoy the wide range of world-class water-sport facilities, wine and dine with the finest, sunbathe on white sand beaches or simply kick back and relax totally, Jersey is the place to go. The perfect place for a family holiday, cosy getaway or activity weekend you will leave the island feeling completely satisfied yet hungry for more.

Sailing over to the Channel Islands in April 2012 for the Summer season.Have just discovered your web site and we are finding it very useful in our preparation, however how up to date are these "Guides" and why is there less information on Jersey than the other Islands considering its the biggest isle ??

Jersey will be updated some time this year..We now have that many sites that its difficult to get round them in time. We are also in the process of taking on more staff to ensure that all our guides are fully up to date.

Hi Greg. We have a selection of hotels and guest houses on the site(click the "Accommodation" tab above.) We also have someone working in Jersey at the moment is updating our Harbourguide, so there will be more of a selection soon.
Hope the yachts ok.

In reply to Greg Townsend question where to hire a car, I used Zebra car and bike hire, and found them excellent.Their details are on this site.

Wet miserable Day yesterday, decided to try COASTERING. This involved swimming, climbing, and jumping off a Cliff called the RHINO. This was all done in 2 hours and was brilliant. If you are up for it call John at JERSEY ADVENTURES-01534 873074 or 07797727503.
