OUR HISTORY

Davey Machining Centre was founded in 1968 by Arthur Davey and his eldest son, John Davey. Very soon the firm was carrying out sub-contract machining for a very wide range of customers in the area. D.M.C. employs some of the most highly skilled craftsmen in the district.

We provide a personal service with direct access to the proprietors who are always willing to discuss engineering problems. We offer a speedy turn round of work and have a good reputation for the manufacture of items to drawings or samples. Very wide experience in the "one-off" field has helped to develop our versatility and our ability to repair if cost effective. Convieniently located just off the A12 and A45, D.M.C. is easily accessible from any part of the region. We can collect and deliver where appropriate.

PLANT

Our comprehensive range of machines caters for: turning, milling, horizontal boring, drilling and grinding. To complement our machining capability we are also able to offer spray welding, arc welding and fabricating.

STOCK

We carry stocks of a very wide range of materials, in particular: mild, carbon and alloy steels, stainless steels, cast iron, aluminium and bronzes. These stocks enable us to manufacture items to your requirement with the minimum of delay.
