Just a 3 minute stroll from Rothesay Pier and bustling town centre, we enjoy panoramic views over Rothesay Bay and the rolling hills of the Cowal peninsula.
Amazing and very accommodating, clean and very well priced we were so glad to be off the boat for the one night last night, super restful sleep, showered and well fed this morning, Breakfast was excellent they even have Haggis on the Breakfast menu, as well as the usual Breakfast items, we will be back to the Commodore for sure next time we sail into Rothesay, infact we may come back for a walking holiday and stay in one of the cottages at the rear of the Commodore, but still have Breakfast in the Commodore. Thank You Harry & Hazel for being the perfect hosts.

After a hard sail and finding details for The Commodore from a pier hand we phoned to see if they could accommodate us, and they could, (after being on our small boat for 3 days in cramped conditions we needed a decent sleep), the facilities were fab, we had everything you could want for the weary traveller, a hot shower, cosy room and a comfy, comfy bed to sleep in and the best was the next morning at breakfast, freshly brewed coffee, a full scottish breakfast, fruit, toast and a brilliant Host Harry, he's so funny and very knowledgeable of the island and what to do through the day, places to visit etc..., we will hopefully be back next year and will not hesitate in where to stay as we know it will be the one and only COMMODORE in Rothesay. What a find, had a fab Breakfast here last Sunday morning, when we arrived at the Marina on Saturday late afternoon and after enquiring as to where was recommended for Breakfast on Sunday morning, another yacht's crew said the Commodore, so we telephoned, well what a superb Breakfast and served in such a relaxed atmosphere & everything was so fresh, we will definetly be back and Thank you all at the Commodore see you all again next year.

Fantastic stay here, its a must to have their now Famous "Full Scottish Breakfast", sets one up for the whole day, they also do Breakfast for yachts people as long as you phone and book it the day before and they will do all they can to accommodate you, a Fab place in a Fab town.
