Aulay's Bar, known simply as Aulay's to the locals, is situated in the centre of Oban, occupying the former site of the towns oldest droving inn, Tigh Clach A' Gheodha or the House of the Creek Stone.

Brimming with character, the pub has traditional back to back public and lounge bars.

Every inch of wall space is awash with a unique collection of maritime prints showing Oban's seafaring heritage throughout the centuries.

Enjoy a drink or light meal in the hotel's Caledonian Café Bar where a modern spacious interior provides various separate areas in which to unwind over a drink or bite to eat. There are well-spaced tables for diners, fireside couches to relax on and spectacular views of the bay and islands. In the Café Bar our menu provides you with a wide range of traditional and contemporary dishes throughout the day.

Dinner is served in the Restaurant Caledonian in an intimate candlelit setting. Here the menu changes daily in keeping with the seasonal and local produce the chef selects and in order to offer guests plenty of variety.

My work has been mainly concentrated on traditional wooden craft but does expand through to contemporary construction methods and applications.

We do have disabled access to the building but regrettably no ground floor bedrooms.
