The business was launched in 2006 with the aim of providing servicing, repairs and parts for outboard owners in the Glasgow and Clyde area.
We provide a service were we can travel to you to service your outboard, This made it more convenient for outboard owners who could not get to a service centre for reasons such as their outboard being to heavy or fix to their boat.

Covercraft Industrial is celebrating more than 12 years of manufacturing quality marine and industrial covers. Our reputation for quality and customer service has allowed us to build up a strong loyal customer base on the Clyde, Loch Lomond, East Coast and beyond. We operate from two manufacturing units, one in Port Glasgow and one at Kip Marina, which also doubles as a showroom. Each cover we manufacture is custom made and where possible we meet the customer at their boat to ensure that the design and specification meets exactly with their needs. I started in the trade from the age of 15 as an apprentice in a local Cornish boatbuilding and repairs yard serving a 4 ½ year apprenticeship as a traditional boatbuilder/repairer. Working on all types of craft including yachts, lifeboats, Fishing vessels, passenger vessels and a wide range of m.o.d. craft. Working to a high standard. Meeting with Llyods and Mca standards where required.
